DRG Traveler P16
DRG Traveler P16 was entered into
the 5th Canoochee Forage Bull Development Center program. He was
retained for in-herd use and was not offered for sale to the public.
He is sired by the #1 Angus performance sire available today, "S A V
8180 Traveler 004" and is out of a top producing daughter of the
Simmental bull "PPSR Nophalt 20H". He will add pounds at weaning
without sacrificing calving ease. His first 25 calves born thru
natural service averaged 74 pounds at birth. He is moderate framed,
homozygous black and homozygous polled and is gentle as a kitten.
Phenotypically, he is very similar to his sire, Traveler 004. Add
hybrid vigor to your herd without sacrificing efficiency and
predictability.

DRG Traveler P16 - produced in the Simmental herd of Jessie &
Chrissy Driggers, Glennville, GA was entered into the fifth
Canoochee Forage Bull Development
Program in October 2005. He gained well, and because of his unique pedigree
and performance traits, he was retained by Driggers Simmental Farm for in-herd
use and not offered for public sale. He was used as a yearling natural service
in both the Driggers Simmental Farm herd
and the Powder Creek Simmentals
herd. He is a very good semen producer and turned out 150 straws of high quality
semen on his very first collection. He is owned jointly by Driggers Simmental
Farm and Powder Creek Simmentals.
